Let me start right off the bat by saying this: I see no reason why a woman can’t do the same job I can. I see no reason they should be paid less than me do for doing the same job and I think there’s no excuse for anyone to be harassed in any environment, especially at their workplace and the industry they work in.

I work at a strategy and design agency called Lee ter Wal Design. We’re based in the heart of Auckland and we deliver top-notch work for our clients. Our directors like to encourage making and so naturally we decided to come up with a project we could work on in between client work. A project where we could play and experiment. And hopefully a project that would result in something useful.

I remember when I first read about the CSS Animation and Transition modules. I was worried. It seemed to me that the clear separation between presentation and behaviour was getting murky. Change was scary, I guess. But I was wrong before; about where the line was.

A while back I read an article explaining how to create a smooth scroll to top with CSS transitions (via segdeha.com) and I filed that in the could be useful drawer.
